Filter press

The filter press is a hydraulic sludge treatment unit that effectively removes water from the sludge and produces dry sludge cakes for disposal or reuse, depending on the contaminants present in the sludge. Dewatering the sludge saves both costs and the environment.

Filter presses are often used as the final stage in the water purification process and work well on many different types of sludge. The filter press works particularly well for inorganic sludge containing larger particles that can damage other sludge treatment systems. There are also few moving parts, ensuring longevity and minimal maintenance costs.
