Construction & tunneling

Space-saving treatment solutions for the construction industry .

When constructing new buildings, roads, or tunnels, large amounts of contaminated water often arise that need to be treated. The challenge is often that large volumes of water need to be purified, but there is limited space to do so.

Nordisk Vannteknikk has therefore developed a product line specifically designed to solve this problem.

Contractors

In the construction industry, water purification is a crucial challenge in the fight for sustainable development. With increasing urbanization, development and industrial growth, the need for efficient water purification systems has never been greater. Water purification is not only about removing particles and contaminants from water sources, but also about maintaining high water quality for both human use and the preservation of ecosystems.

In addition to technical challenges, contractors also face regulatory and administrative hurdles. Changes in laws and regulations around water quality require contractors to stay up to date and adapt to ever-changing requirements. This requires a proactive approach and the ability to collaborate closely.

Nordisk Vannteknikk wants to be more than just a supplier of purification equipment, but also a guide and partner throughout the entire process.

Mobile treatment plants

TAILOR-MADE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Some of the most common challenges that contractors face in water treatment are lack of space and capacity. Often the need for capacity is far greater than the space available, which can lead to major logistical challenges.

The mobile treatment plants from Nordisk Vannteknikk are designed with these challenges in mind. The product series consists of a number of modules built into container solutions, and are both compact and mobile so that they can be easily accommodated within construction areas. The plants are also modular and modules are selected according to need. It is therefore both space-saving and cost-effective to choose mobile treatment plants from Nordisk Vannteknikk.

Sedimentation

Sedimentation is the process where particles in the water are allowed to settle and sink to the bottom of the tank.

Flocculation of particles in test tubes in the laboratory

Chemical precipitation

To increase the effect of sedimentation, PolyClay or another polymer is added.

Dewatering

Filter presses or other dewatering systems are used to make the sludge less expensive and more environmentally friendly to dispose of.
